Instructions
1. Plug in the
glue gun so the glue will be warmed and ready to use when you need it.
2. Select pieces of moss you would like to use from the bag of moss. I
used the stiffer greyish pieces because of the deep contrast between the
colour of the moss and rosebuds but you may choose to use the softer green
portion of the moss in the bag.
3. As you are ready to insert the moss squeeze out chocolate chip sized
amounts of glue all around the sides of the wreath. Secure the moss to the
wreath by pushing it into the glue with a Popsicle stick. This will
prevent your fingers from sticking to the glue. Continue gluing on the
moss all the way around the wreath. If a piece is too long break some off
or use scissors to cut it back.
4. Now it is time to add your rosebuds. Squeeze small amounts of glue onto
the stem of the rose and insert into the moss. Since the moss is quite
wild in appearance you can use the fact that the stems of some of the
rosebuds are long to hold the moss in place in combination with the hot
glue. When you squeeze the hot glue on the stem, stick it inbetween the
moss to help keep it in place. Continue gluing the roses in the moss
around the wreath until you have it filled in to satisfy your idea of how
you thought your wreath should look.
