This makes a very rich and luscious pie.  If you are a fan of warm pudding try making this recipe and forgetting about the pie shell, it's like heaven!

Cocoa Crème Pie

1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt

3 cups milk
3 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
9-inch prepared pie crust

In medium sauce pan, stir together the cocoa, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into prepared crust. Press plastic wrap directly onto surface to prevent skin from forming. Cool to room temperature. Refrigerate 6 to 8 hours to completely set.
